Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
DealRadar ("we", "our", "the app") helps you discover deals. This policy explains what information we collect, where it's kept, and how we use it.
No account required
You don't need to sign up or log in to use DealRadar. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, or any other personal identifier.
What we store on our servers
These are tied only to a random device ID the app generates when it's first opened. That ID isn't linked to your identity.
- Push notification token — only if you allow notifications, so we can deliver the alerts you've turned on.
- Price alerts you set ("tell me when it drops below ₹X") and the brands, stores and categories you follow, so we can notify you when a matching deal appears.
- Your notification settings, such as the daily digest and its time.
- Your notification feed — the alerts we've sent you, kept for 14 days.
We use this only to run these features. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for security and troubleshooting.
What stays only on your phone
- Saved deals and your app preferences.
- Notification timing — to send alerts when you're usually active, the app notes when you open it and which kinds of deals you view, save or tap. The activity log covers the last 7 days; a running summary of the categories, brands and stores you prefer fades out over time. Both stay on your phone and are never sent to us.
- Longer price history for deals you open (see below), kept for up to 3 days.
Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes all of this.
Price history from a third-party website
When you open a deal, the app loads that product's public price-history page from a third-party price-tracking website — the same page the app's "Price history" button opens — so it can show the product's longer price history. This request is made directly from your phone, may use a hidden in-app browser, and sends that website only the product's link (plus the information any website receives, such as your IP address). It contains nothing about you from DealRadar. That website's own privacy policy applies to the request.
No tracking
We don't use analytics SDKs, ad trackers, or any tool that profiles you across apps or sites.
To learn which shared links work, our own server keeps a simple count of how many times a shared deal link or a "get the app" link was opened, and how many times Share was tapped, per day and per label of where it came from (for example "share_app" or "telegram"). These are totals only — no IP address, device, account or browser details are stored with them.
Third-party links
Deals link out to third-party stores (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and similar). Once you tap through, you're on their site and subject to their own privacy policy — we don't control what they collect.
Deleting your data
Turn off notifications and remove your price alerts and follows in the app to stop us using that data; uninstalling stops all communication with our servers. To have the server-side data for your device deleted, email us at the address below and we'll remove it.
Children's privacy
DealRadar isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
